EMAE concert at the Turner Nursing Home

Set within the splendid chapel of the Waterhouse designed Turner Nursing Home we were delighted that the prestigious early Music as Education youth orchestra had agreed to perform a selection from their extensive repertoire of chamber music.

EMAE (www.emae.co.uk) is a registered charity based in Merseyside that promotes the cultural, social and economic value of early music through regular educational, recreational and scholarly activities. A brief visit to their website gives a glimpse of the vibrancy and commitment of these talented young people whose music truly ‘communicates’ as it entertains and delights.

The Turner Home continues to fulfil its original purpose of providing ‘rest’ as well as essential care for older men, some of whom joined us for the concert.
