Private visit to Brynbella, near Tremeirchion, Denbighshire
By kind permission of Peter and Maria Neumark
Sat 15 July at 12 noon - 2pm
This was not just any summer party! This was a very special summer get-together. A real treat for petrolheads and gardeners alike!
A visit to Brynbella, the historic home of Mrs Thrale. For those of you who know your history, Mrs Thrale was a hugely influential figure in the 18th century art and literature world. Dr Johnson wanted to marry her but she chose her daughter’s Italian music teacher instead!
We were invited to view the gardens at Brynbella - seven acres of garden and woodland, including an award winning gravel garden, designed by Chelsea best of show winner, Andy Sturgeon. In addition we will had a short walk down to the motorhouse that houses one of the best private classic car collections in the UK.
